Training & Analysis of blood (live and dry) using darkfield microscopy in Cambridge
Please note this is only available as part of a consultation for naturopathy.
Brina Eidelson ANP, MLDUK
Cambridge Practice
Website: www.inhealth.uk.com This is a unique method of blood analysis using a microscope.
Darkfield microscopy allows us to take an in-depth look at the internal terrain of your body.
The body is at least 60% fluid and it is the state of this fluid that is the key to health.
The information obtained from the blood is invaluable in making deductions about your health and formulating a tailor-made nutritional and remedial programme.
Examples of the type of information that can be gleaned from the blood sample are:
- Regulation of the body's acid/alkaline balance
- Health and efficiency of the red blood cells
- Activity levels and efficiency of the immune system
- Condition of the blood serum
- Toxicity levels and type
The amount and type of information available is endless.
If you are concerned about your health, a blood analysis will give you invaluable information for the correction of your internal 'soil'.
A record is kept of the blood picture, which can be compared with follow-up samples taken at intervals that track changes and improvements.
You don't have to guess whether your health is improving. You can see the pictures for yourself.
"The microbe is nothing, the terrain is everything." Claude Bernard, France 1813-1878

On this three-day seminar you will learn:
- The history and background of live blood analysis
- To understand the underlying causes of illness and how they manifest in the blood picture
- How to do a nutritional evaluation of live and dry blood samples and how to use it in a clinical setting
- To understand and apply the principles of Prof. Enderlein and pleomorphism
- About pH and the role it plays in health
- To understand and recognise the constituents of live blood as seen under the darkfield microscope - you will study dozens of slides and videos of blood pictures
- How to analyse a dry blood sample as seen under the brightfield microscope
- How to gather information from your clients and use it in conjunction with the analyses
- How to take blood samples and use the microscope
- You will be given basic nutritional guidelines and protocols for the correction of the conditions found
- Full training manual is provided as well as information on microscopy systems
- At the end of the seminar there will be a short test and you will receive a certificate of completion of the Live Blood Analysis Introductory Course which will allow you to upgrade your insurance and to practise.
There is usually a lively discussion during the course and much can be learned from each other.
No more than eight candidates will be accepted per course.
There will be some microscopes available and you will be introduced into their functionality and use and there will be time for you to practise on them. The emphasis of the course is on making sure you are able to understand and interpret the blood picture, so you will need further training on the microscope from the supplier that you purchase from. Phase contrast is not part of the training but can be discussed.
Who is the trainer?
Brina Eidelson is a qualified naturopath and acupuncturist and has been in practice since 1996. She trained in live blood analysis with Michael Coyle of Nulife Sciences in 2002. After Michael's untimely death in 2003 she did further training with Lynne Hinton of Healthhouse Canada, a Nulife Sciences certified trainer. In the seven years that Brina has been using this fascinating technique within her clinical practice she's gained a wealth of experience. Liveblood analysis is known as the 'new biology' and you have everything to gain by incorporating it into your own clinical work - it has to be the way that medicine goes in the future for the prevention of chronic disease.
Who should attend?
This seminar is open to anyone who has studied medicine or natural health. It is essential to have a reasonable knowledge of nutrition and a qualification in anatomy and physiology. If you are not appropriately qualified or are still a student then your certificate of attendance may be withheld untill all criteria are met.
The reason for the above stipulation is because there is time on the course only to provide basic information on methods of healing. If you do not have the background in nutrition concerned with natural healing you may find it difficult to interpret some of the topics that come up for discussion.
Further Information About Blood Analysis (live & dry) People have been looking at blood to give clues to health ever since the microscope was invented.
Live blood microscopy allows the patient to look at their own blood (only a single drop is required) on a television screen monitor.
The blood can give a great deal of information about what is taking place inside the body at a cellular level.
Normal, healthy, red blood cells are round in shape and relatively even in size. Immune cells can be seen moving around, cleaning the blood. The plasma is clear and clean, not full of debris.
If the red cells are not separate, but stuck together, this can indicate poor oxygen circulation which may lead to fatigue. If the cells are too large, this could indicate a deficiency of vitamin B12. If the cell walls are misshapen this may indicate a deficiency of essential fatty acids.
There are very many possibilities which the trained practitioner can interpret, not just in terms of nutrition, but for example, the presence of yeasts such as candida, or parasites, the condition of the digestive system, the liver, other organ systems etc.
Blood analysis is not diagnostic. It requires an experienced naturopathic practitioner to interpret the information and to make the required recommendations. These may involve dietary, herbal, homoeopathic or other supplements or lifestyle changes.
The beauty of this technique is that the patient can return to see how the condition of their blood has improved as a result of carrying out the therapist’s recommendations. Usually, a video record is taken, so ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures can be studied. As the blood picture improves, this should be reflected in the condition of the patient’s health.
